1) Buying a Gift Certificate |

The CertificateSwap.com website is uniquely
organized by store name and therefore all certificates
available for sale to a particular merchant are available
on that merchant's store page on our site. To find
the store's page, you may use the search box at the
top of our website and search by store name, or you
may browse by category on the homepage. Once you have
found a gift certificate which you would like to purchase,
simply click the "Buy" button next to the
specific certificate and it will then be placed in
your shopping cart. You may then continue shopping
or continue through the checkout process. CertificateSwap.com
requires each of its buyers to pay online with either
a Visa or Mastercard. |

2) Buying GiftBux |
|

| |
|
GiftBux is simply the best gift you
could ever give! In a nutshell, GiftBux is a gift
certificate redeemable for any item listed for sale
on the CertificateSwap site. Never again do you have
to get a friend a gift certificate to just one store.
Sending a GiftBux Gift Certificate will allow the
recipient to visit our site and redeem it for a gift
certificate to any store of their choice! In addition,
because most of the gift certificates listed on our
site are available at a discount off their face-value,
this means the recipient can often purchase a gift
certificate worth more than the GiftBux you gave them.
When sending GiftBux to a friend, we offer you the
ability to print the certificate so that you may hand
deliver it to them or if you prefer, we can email
it directly to the recipient instantly. |

3) Shopping Cart |

|
On a particular merchant's page on our
site, simply click the "Buy" button next
to the ctificate you'd like to purchase. This will
add the certificate to your shopping cart. Once you've
finished your shopping and are ready to check out,
please press the Shopping Cart link at the top right
of our website. If your shopping cart has not had
any activity within 30 minutes, it will time-out and
individual certificates will be removed from your
shopping cart and placed back into the store's inventory. |

4) Shipping Charges |

Sending a GiftBux Gift Certificate to
friends and family is quick & easy, but best of
all - also free! If you order a certificate from another
consumer, and are having it shipped to an address
within the United States, there is a 75 cents shipping
and handling fee. If the certificate is being shipped
to Canada, there is a $1.95 shipping and handling
fee. If you are ordering a face-value certificate
from our website, there is a $1.49 processing fee
however this also includes postage. |

5) Order Problems |

|
When you order an item another user
has listed on our site, we process your payment and
instruct the seller to mail the certificate directly
to the address you provided us. We ask sellers to
ship within 24 hours of your purchase however in some
cases, it may take up to 72 hours for a seller to
ship your certificate. Because our buyers and sellers
are located throughout the United States, shipping
times may vary however we estimate that you should
receive any gift certificate purchased within 1-2
weeks. If you need an immediate gift, we recommend
sending a GiftBux Gift Certificate which can be emailed
to the recipient. If 21 days have passed and you have
still not yet received the gift certificate you ordered,
you may log into your account and contact us so that
we may investigate the situation. We will then ask
the seller when the item was shipped and ask that
they provide us with a tracking number of the shipment,
if one is available. CertificateSwap.com attempts
to reduce fraud by handling the payment processing
and thus withholding sellers' payments until the buyer
has confirmed receipt of their order. When you do
receive your order, please remember to log into your
account to leave feedback for the seller and to finalize
the transaction.
Note: It is crucial that you “file a complaint”
between 21 and 30 days after placing an order or it
will be assumed that you received the certificate
as ordered. |

6) Leaving Feedback |

|
CertificateSwap.com uses a community
feedback system which allows buyers and sellers to
leave feedback for one-another after completing a
transaction. The seller should leave feedback for
the buyer immediately as buyers pay instantly with
a credit card. Upon receiving a gift certificate,
we ask that you leave feedback for the seller as quickly
as possible. The higher the user's feedback rating,
the greater their reputation in our online community. |
